WA2 Evaluation
The sign up period for WA 2 has concluded for Spring 2010. There are four more opportunities to apply for WA 2 evaluation agreements; each will be open December through March for the next four years.
The application form for WA 2 will reappear here in December.
Over 130 applications have been received for WA 2 this spring. The list of applicants reflects the Washington Apple industry. Commercial licenses will be available for growers with signed evaluation agreements in January 2011. When the commercial licenses are available, any evaluation agreement for WA 2 that has been signed and returned by Washington State University can be converted to a commercial license.
Propagation licenses for nurseries are being prepared. Several nurseries will be able to provide growers planting or grafting material in the near future.
