Washington Fruit Commission

Dena Perleberg Ybarra has been appointed by the Washington State Fruit Commission to position #6 on the Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission. She succeeds Dennis Hayden who previously served in that position for twenty years. Ms. Ybarra is a WSU graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture. She is a second generation grower and has been in the fruit growing and nursery industry her entire life. Dena now manages approximately 1,000 acres of orchards and nursery growing grounds. Her past experience includes serving as President in the Columbia Basin Hort Society, the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association, North Central Chapter and Northwest Nursery Improvement Institute. Ybarra has conducted International meetings on IFTA trips. Dena Is a member of: ANLA (American Nursery and Landscape Association) Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce International Fruit Tree Association Washington State Horticultural Association
